Seeking a London Wedding Photographer (Who Promises Not to Make Us Pose Next to Trees)
My partner and I are getting married in London, and we’re looking for a photographer who hates cliché, stiff wedding photos as much as we do.
Strictly zero awkward posing, zero fake laughter, and zero hours wasted standing in line holding flowers while staring blankly into the distance.
We want someone with an elite eye for candid moments, real energy, and a high-fashion documentary style.
Think less "traditional wedding album" and more "cinematic frames from a killer party that happens to have two people getting hitched."
We need someone who can capture London’s street vibe, the unscripted laughs, the quiet micro-moments, and the pure chaos once the dance floor opens up.
What we’re looking for:
Style: Candid, documentary, editorial. Real emotion and dynamic shots over staged family lineups.
Vibe: Easygoing, low-stress, and confident. Someone who blends into the background, puts guests at ease, and stays unfazed by fast-moving schedules or dodgy British weather.
Technical: Great with natural light, but knows how to bring out direct flash magic when the lights drop and the afterparty starts.
Deliverables: High-res edited gallery plus a quick teaser pack right after the wedding so we can share the high while it's fresh.
